Goodman established itself as the largest HVAC manufacturer in the US by producing high-quality, efficient equipment and providing it to homeowners at a great value. The GMVC96 furnace uses a pair of steel heat exchangers to convert 96% of the energy used into comfort, Goodman's highest mark for a two-stage furnace. It is equipped with an advanced variable-speed blower motor, which scales circulation to the specific demands of your application in real-time. The GMVC96 was designed with multiple options for the unit's gas, electric, and venting connections and orientation, ensuring a painless and quick installation. It even features a self-diagnosing control board that makes maintenance a breeze. If you're looking for consistent comfort and incredible efficiency from a two-stage furnace, it's tough to beat Goodman's GMVC96.
Secondary Heat Exchanger
This furnace produces addition heat by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented. The secondary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and it is sloped to prevent condensate build-up.
The blower and gas valve of the GMVC96 were selected for their incredibly low sound levels. Additionally, this unit offers an airflow system and fan speed options that allow it to operate quietly while providing consistent comfort.
All GMVC96 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet rated for less than 2% air leakage. The heat exchanger section is insulated to prevent heat loss and the return side of the cabinet is solid and airtight.
The GMVC96 makes it simple to enhance your system with a humidifier and an electronic air cleaner; just wire them directly to the low-voltage terminals on the control board.

Completely satisfied with the purchase. You definitely get what you paid for. I use it only for several hours a day and don’t keep in on during all times. It delivers enough heat so I could comfortably work on my projects.
Everything is as advertised. Good value for the price. Satisfied with the purchase.
Easy to keep the room warm. The furnace doesn’t seem to require much maintenance, so that’s a plus, too.

Can I buy it online and install by myself?
HVAC or Boiler installation requires electrical, gas and refrigerant knowledge as well as familiarity with local bylaws and building codes. Failure to properly install HVAC equipment can create safety concerns and performance issues as well as void manufacturer warranties. For those reasons, we always recommends professional installation.
Do I still qualify for the 10 year manufacturer parts warranty if I purchase online?
Yes. The manufacturer will honour the 10 year parts warranty if a furnace or air conditioner or boilers is purchased online and installed by us.
What is the average life expectancy?
The average lifespan of an air conditioner is 15-20 years and an average furnace will last between 10-15 years. Annual maintenance and inspections can extend the longevity and efficiency of your unit. The average lifecycle of a boiler is typically between 13 and 17 years. It is important to note that boilers that are 10 to 15 years old may be 45% less efficient than newer models. A new eco-friendly model will save you a lot of money on your energy bill.
